MobileCrunch » HTC’s Diamond may Rough-up iPhone

MobileCrunch » HTC’s Diamond may Rough-up iPhone

"High Tech Computer (HTC) announced the HTC Touch Diamond today. The Touch Diamond utilizes 3G (third generation) mobile technology. The device runs Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and has a touch screen that can be used one-handed. Apple hasn’t said when it will launch a 3G phone, but the company is expected to do so later this year.

Starting this June, the Touch Diamond will be available in Europe. The Asian and Middle Eastern markets will follow, with sales hitting North and South America in the second half of 2008."

I haven't blogged for a year, but I'm back and am planning to blog on tech stuff that interests me here, and personal stuff on Vox.

Anyways, man this phone is appealing to me... I'm on T-Mobile in the USA and 3G is coming to my market around 3rd or 4th quarter 2008. I really hope T-Mobile carries this phone when that happens. I'm using the T-Mobile Wing now running Windows Mobile 6 Professional and am loving it. The Wing is an HTC phone and I think it's great.

Local to OlyWA... Capital mall's cineplex set to open Friday

Wow.... I haven't blogged in a while!!! Been caught up in Family things, and as a dad of 2, I've had my hands full.

Well, anyways, I just read this news about the theater opening at the mall. Seems like this one's gonna be pretty darn big. I'll be taking the kids for sure, but not so excited about the usual prices on snacks and whatnot at theaters... Almost like paying for dinner.... hrmmm

And I did watch Shrek The Third with my 8 year old and that was a blast.

The Tech List

Well, here's something new to me. Let's see how this goes. I was checking out Jonzee.com and there's this Tech List with my blog on it. Let's see how this list grows. If your on it, look below.

***Begin to copy here***

1. Write a short paragraph at the beginning of your post and link back to the blog that put you on the list in the paragraph. This isn’t a suggestion. You need to break up the duplicate content string. Someone took the time to add you so the least you can do is give them an extra linkback.
2. Copy the list of originals below COMPLETELY and add it to your blog. If you would like a different keyword for your blog then change it when you do your post and it should pass to most blogs with that keyword.
3. Take the adds from the blog that added you and place them in the “Originals” list.
4. Add no more than 5 new TECH, SCIENCE, or CONSUMER ELECTRONICS blogs to the list in the “My Adds” section.

My Adds:

Tech Talk Blog

Buddywave - MySpace Web Browser

BuddyWave - A Social Web Browser.

Another Social Web Browser, like Flock, made for MySpace users. This one is based on IE7, unlike Flock, whick is based on Firefox.

I don't know about this one. I'm going to try it out but, I have a feeling I'm not going to like it too much. I use Flock alot, and I really like it. ( I'm posting this right from Flock )

I'll try it out and let write about what I think about it. If you do try it, let me know if you like it.

1200 Watt Power Supply!!!!!

Thermaltake Toughpower world’s first 1200W Power Supply - Fareastgizmos.com

My Pentium D 840 EE edition machine is having power supply problems. Now I see this. Wow.... 1200 watts of power... This is what I need for my machine and if I ever go Quad-GPU, no worries. (I'd never need that much GPU power, but still...)

Gamers will be able to build monster machines, maybe using 4 of those ATI R600 monsters and maybe eventually use Intel's 80 core terascale chip with 1.28TFLOP computing power I blogged about the other day.

This is just nuts.
